Word from the Ambassador 

We are pleased to welcome all visitors to the official website of the Embassy of the State of Qatar in New Delhi, Republic of India.

We hope that our embassy’s website will contribute to providing sufficient information about the State of Qatar, its culture, economy and achievements in all fields, in addition to an overview of the bilateral relations between the two countries, and everything related to consular services, investment opportunities, events and activities of the embassy in India.

The bilateral relations between the State of Qatar and the Republic of India are witnessing remarkable growth, especially as they have come a long way over the past five decades, during which , cooperation relations have progressed  and included many vital fields, including politic, energy, economy, trade and tourism.

In conclusion, we welcome your inquiries and suggestions that will contribute to enriching this site so that it becomes a bridge of communication and a reference for services and information for nationals of the State of Qatar in India and visitors to the site of all nationalities.

Academic Qualifications

  • Holder of an MBA from the American University for Culture and Education - Lebanon (2021).

  • Holder of a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the American University for Culture and Education, Lebanon (2012).

  • Obtained a certificate of intensive studies in International Relations from the Fletcher Institute at Tufts University - Boston, USA (1997-1999).

Practical Experience

  • He joined the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in August 1996.

  • Appointed at the Consulate General of the State of Qatar in Karachi - Pakistan (2001-2007).

  • Appointed at the Embassy of the State of Qatar in Beirut - Lebanon (2007-2013).

  • Appointed as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Eastern Republic of Uruguay (2013-2018).

  • Appointed as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Lebanese Republic (2018-2021)

  • He was a candidate for the Shura Council elections, which were held for the first time in the State of Qatar- October 2021.

  • Currently serving as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the State of Qatar to the Republic of India from May, 2023.

  • English language course from (The New England School of English) in (Boston) in the United States of America - 1997.

  • Introductory course on the Internet at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs - 1996.

  • Microsoft Course - Computer - Arab Computer Company - 1996.

Summits and conferences

  • The ninth session of the Islamic Summit Conference in Doha in 2000.

  • The fourth session of the Arab Development Summit in Lebanon in 2019.
